Generic Magic Eraser On The Walls Of A Huge Apartment In Singapore
Sometimes interior designers find inspiration in projects ranging from growing plants to artwork. It’s the case of this luxury apartment from Singapore. With a total surface of 2,800 square feet, the apartment is situated in a 6-story building located in a prime district of Singapore. With explicit art prints being displayed on its walls as well as custom furniture, the apartment is like a piece of artwork.
Its owner is interior designer Renowned Magister Hui Chen. He who directed this project previously made this amazing combination of painted on walls with sculptures and framed artwork. The walls are filled with comic book pages referencing the main characters. The whole project was inspired by the Google bot program, a huge online map containing the topography of Singapore.
This particular artist’s apartment is located in the Hampey Bay Area of Singapore. When he’s not decorating his place, he works by paying rent in London. Other important factors that led to this project include the concern of not having a close working connection with loved ones for a long time and the fact that the apartment shared a strong connection with many people living there.
The conclusion: Although there is a strong visual connection between Col. and his work with the people living in he apartment, this project demonstrates that all lovers can have fun exploring new styles while loving old seemingly common Japanese culture. After living in the apartment for a year, Mr. Chen immediately thought to himself that he wanted to recreate the atmosphere and feel of a real artist and bring as much inspiration as possible in the close surroundings and in the crowded urban areas, which are usually populated by other artistic objects.
The conclusion: The dimensional design concept is a challenge, Besides the obvious functional demands of the client, the space need a unique decorative touch which attracts friends and draws out the personality of the person(s) living in the apartment. Mr. Chen’s carefully studied the space to determine every details so that the desired effect can be achieved in an efficient way. The result is more than a renovation: It demonstrates that people can express their personalities and totally personal life at any moment, without any disruptions. The space designed for Mr. Chen is more than a program for the collection exhibition as it makes the user feel safe and sheltered, and gives new meaning to the idea of a place.
